En bok som jag har på nattduksbordet att läsa nu är Global Eating Disorder(2014) 

av Gunnar Rundgren och den tar upp jordbruk, energi och hållbarhet med aktuell 

data och historiska fakta. Intressant läsning. Det går inte att vaska bort mat likt 

champagne längre. 

Börja ta ansvar, det påminner Tristram Stuart om när han besökte Skavlan i fredags.

Skavlan hade besök av mr Tristram Stuart som pratade om matsvinnet. I Sverige 

finns det en större mängd mat än det går att äta, siffran 150 procent mat nämns. 

Norge har 160 procent mer mat ändå så matsvinnet är oundvikligt.

Det finns idag tillräckligt med mat för att mätta jordens befolkning, men det behövs

en bättre fördelning av det hele. Tristram har fått pris för sitt arbete på att försöka

lösa det globala matsvinn problemet 2011 och han har hållit ett TED talk

The global food waste scandal i London 2012. Där förtäljer han om hur vi har

4 gånger så mycket mat producerat när man räknar med det som produceras för att 

mata grisarna (sojamjöl som leder till att regnskog skövlas i Brasilien för att ge plats 

åt grödorna och det som inte ens kommer in till butiken för att varan är för sned

(fel sorts bananer blir bortsorterade då butikerna vill ha en snygg look på 

varorna - tomat, morot sorteras ut, delvis matsvinn i stor skala innan varorna 

ens nått fram till butiken).

Sedan vart Mark Knopfler nästa gäst på Skavlan. Vem är han? tänkte jag och 

gick på en Spotify roundtrip. Fastnade på Youtube och kollade flest visningar för 

att finna en låt jag känner igen.

A book that I have on the bedroom table to read i Global Eating Disorder(2014) by Gunnar Rundgren and you can read about farming, energy and sustainability with proper dat and historical facts. Interesting reading. You cannot throw away food like it’s for ever more. Start being responsible is what Tristram Stuart reminded about when he visited Skavlan this friday night. (in some what way Skavlan is the swedish/ norweigan Graham Norton only the topics are more of a serious matter in the scandinavian style, I mena most of the guests are regular people more politician and atlets, writers, some filmstars and it ends with a music number. Well it´s almost the same only no red chair in Skavlan, I miss Luuk he had it goin’ well)
SO Skavlan had Tristram Stuart as guest and he talked about the food waste.
In Sweden there are a larger amount of food then we are able to eat, the number that its about 150% amount of food is mentioned. Norway has even more food available for its inhabitants with 160% so the waste of food is inevitable. 
Today we have enough food to feed the whole of earths human beings, but a better distribution is needed. Tristram Stuart has gotten an award in 2011 for his work on a solution to solve the global food waste problem and he held a TED talk called the Global food waste scandal in London 2012 where he tells about how we have four times as much food produced when you count the amount that is produced to feed the pigs(soy flour that leads to the rainforest to be taken down in Brazil only to give place to the crops and some of it does not even come into the stores because the product is too crooked( the wrong sort of banana gets sorted out because the stores want a good-looking product - tomatoes, carrots get sorted out, so there is partly a food waste in big scale before the products even has reached the stores!). 
  Then Mark Knopfler was the next guest in Skavlan. Who is he? I wondered and went on a Spotify roundtrip, got stuck on Youtube and checked what had the most views in order to find a song I recognized and i found Dire Straits with brothers in arms.

The music video is nicely done, almost precisely like Aha’s Take on me was painted(wondering if it is the same artist that drew/draw?/ painted both videos)
